Hagerman High School is seeking a passionate, student-centered educator to join our team as a Health Science and Career & Technical Education (CTE) Teacher. This position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of students while teaching relevant, hands-on coursework that prepares young people for college, careers, and life beyond high school.  Coaching opportunities may be available for qualified applicants.

Position Responsibilities
The successful candidate will:
  • Teach Health Science and/or CTE courses aligned with New Mexico standards.
  • Create engaging, hands-on learning experiences that connect classroom learning to real-world careers.
  • Build positive relationships with students, families, and community partners.
  • Support student career exploration and workforce readiness.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to promote student achievement and school success.
Qualifications
  • Valid New Mexico teaching license (or ability to obtain appropriate licensure).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to student success and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in Health Science, Career & Technical Education, healthcare, or related fields is preferred but not required.
