Notice of Vacancy:
Secondary teacher- math junior high and highschool math endorsement
(Additional certifications preferred)
Primary Purposes:
Provide students with appropriate learning activities and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for positive intellectual, emotional, physical, and social development; Enable students to develop competencies and skills to function successfully in society.
Qualifications:
Minimum Education/Certifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university
Valid New Mexico teaching certificate with required endorsements for subject/level assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills
Ability to learn, acquire and apply new skills and knowledge
Ability to deliver high-quality math instruction using best practices
Ability to collaborate with parents, teachers and other school personnel
Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners
Ability to incorporate technology into lessons
Ability to serve as a coach/ mentor with professional colleagues
Willingness to take on additional roles within the school system
Willingness to continue education to get additional endorsements
