Job Description:
Deputy Director of HR and Finance
Pecos Cyber Academy is a virtual public state authorized charter school in NM
Working remotely from your home office.
Must reside in NM.
Must be a CPO.
12 month position
Hold and maintain a Level II School Business Management License as required by the State of New Mexico.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, or Business Administration, or Finance with 10 years’ experience with School Financial and HR items. Or with a minimum of 15 years on the job with experience as a school business official.
Will work in close collaboration with the HR and Travel Coordinator, Director of Finance, and Executive Director.
Must be willing to travel about 5% of the time to support spring assessments if requested.
Provide school business training and mentoring
Must be skilled in the following duties but not limited to:

- Employee HR File Management
- Travel Request/Per Diem/ Travel Reimbursement
- RFRs, RFPs, RFAs
- NMPSIA
- ERB
- Taxes/procedures
- P-Card System Management
- Working in a digtial data base
- Working knowledge of NMDash, ED Plan, MLSS correlation
- Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
