Job Description:
TITLE: 9-12 Principal  (.50 FTE) and Sped Director (.50 FTE)
Start Date: January 2025
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Master’s degree in Education Administration
2. New Mexico Education Administration License
3. Knowledge of and familiarity with coursework or experience State and Federal special education standards and regulations.
4. Five (5) years experience in public school administration and supervision and/or teaching or such alternatives as the superintendent may find appropriate and acceptable.

 
REPORTS TO: District Superintendent
 
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION:  (performed with or without reasonable accommodation) To provide instructional leadership and manage the resources of the school, including personnel, time, budget, equipment, materials, and facilities. To direct all district special education programs and to assure that the district fulfills its responsibilities to those students who qualify for special education services.
 
SALARY: Dependent on experience and education
