We're Looking For:
National Certified School Counselor credential issued by National Board for Certified Counselors; Or
Master’s degree inGuidance Counseling or Masters in Social Work; Or
Current New Mexico Licensure from Counseling & Practice Board or Social Work Board (LPC, LPCC, LMHC,
LISW, LCSW, LMSW)
Current New Mexico Public Education License as School Counselor “preferred or eligibility”
School experience preferred

As a Middle School Counselor, you will need to Demonstrate the ability to work effectively with administrators, staff, students, and parents. The ability to perform essential job functions and job task requirements and meet the competencies determined for this position. Ability to develop a rapport with community providers and build collaboration to assure ongoing care for our students.
