Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable educator to join our team as an Intro to Linemen Teacher for our high school elective program. This position involves instructing students in the fundamental concepts of the line worker industry, emphasizing electric grid functionality, safety protocols, essential tools, and operational practices. The goal of this course is to introduce students to the exciting and rewarding career path of line work, ultimately preparing them for further education or entry-level positions in the field.

Responsibilities:

Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cover core concepts related to the electric grid, safety procedures, tools, and operational practices in line work.
Utilize various teaching methods and resources to accommodate diverse learning styles and ensure student comprehension.
Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation, critical thinking, and skill development.
Assess student progress through assignments, quizzes, projects, and exams, providing constructive feedback to support their growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to align curriculum goals, share best practices, and coordinate cross-disciplinary activities.
