Job Description:
The SLP will play a critical role in assessing and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders, improving our clients' quality of life through effective therapy strategies. This position requires a deep understanding of speech disorders and a passion for helping individuals of all ages achieve their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose disorders related to speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, swallowing, and fluency.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on each client's needs, goals, and abilities.
  • Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques and tools to facilitate communication skills, including verbal articulation, language understanding, and expression.
  • Work closely with clients' families and caregivers, providing them with strategies to support communication and swallowing skills at home.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, teachers, psychologists, and occupational therapists, to provide a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Maintain detailed records of clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Stay informed about the latest research and developments in speech-language pathology to ensure the best possible care for clients.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
  • Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (ASHA certification preferred).
  • Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) certification.
  • Experience working with clients across a wide age range with various speech and language disorders.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and their families.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop effective treatment plans.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of speech-language pathology.
