Job Description:
The Head Guidance Counselor provides oversight of operations of the guidance department while assisting students in making positive educational, occupational, and post-secondary choices and in overcoming problems which impede learning. Essential duties include management of the master schedule, coordination of all mandated student testing programs, supervision of HS registrar, and oversight of concurrent/dual enrollment programs. Qualifications:
1.Current New Mexico School Counselor License, or eligibility for
2.Master's degree in counseling
3.School experience grades 9 through 12 preferred
